Northeast Belly Dance Association (NBDA)

The NBDA chapters extend a warm welcome to all our members, future members, friends and fans as we embark on the next evolutionary step of the Northeast Belly Dance Association!  We look forward to hearing from you!

We are a social organization comprised of self-sufficient chapters that exists to support the belly dance community throughout New England and neighboring north east states.  Our ongoing mission is to maintain a strong communication network amongst chapters in order to support one another through sharing resources and creating performance venues. 

We are constantly making revisions to our website, updating the calendar, chapter pages, etc.  Visit us often, watch us GROW!!!

We have a diverse membership pool: soloists, troupes of all sizes, professionals, beginners.  We are united in our desire to spread enthusiasm for and knowledge of this beautiful and woman-celebratory dance form.  We are a 100% volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization.  As a member, your yearly membership fee of $20 goes towards running your chapter's annual NBDA Member Showcase, and entitles you to participate in these showcases as well as get admission discounts for designated events.  Chapters make their own rules and operate autonomously; our Board of Directors (the chapter heads) meet periodically in the spirit of keeping our organization unified.

The bottom line is this:
WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT IS WHAT YOU'LL GET OUT OF IT!
