Our Chapter Serves Vermont and Bordering Neighbors!

The Vermont Chapter of the NBDA is a fast-growing, friendly group of dancers who all have a common interest - making more belly dance happen in our beautiful and rural state.

Our members include dance teachers, students, and vendors with each having their own distinctive dance style and philosophies.

Currently, We are currently searching for someone to help with coordinating the chapter, with Amity handling technical duties. Alia Thabit has been creating some fantastic advertising for us as well.
New and current VT chapter members are always encouraged to volunteer their abilities!

The Vermont Chapter of the NBDA sponsors dance events for the WHOLE dance community. We also serve as a information and support network for other local dance events.

We're hoping to organize a group field trip to a dance festival or workshop. Sharing travel and hotel expenses will make that dream workshop a REALITY. Plus, it's just plain fun to go as a group! We are also hoping to locate some area musicians and create a regular performance night at a restaurant or coffee-house! We would love to create a lavish, theatrical production, educating the public on the nuances of the dance and showcasing local talent!

Because you love to Belly Dance and you want to actively support the dance community! Because Belly Dance performances makes the world a more beautiful place!
